  1) Gene expression divergence across species and its relationship with the evolution of gene regulation and gene function.

  2) Developing algorithms and software for detecting epistasis in Genome Wide Association Studies.

  3) Ant Colony Algorithm and its application in detecting high-order interactions from high throughput biological data.

  4) Developing statistical methods for studying cancer heterogeneity from microarray data.
